Changing Fates Equine Rescue

Karin will be raffling off a 4H Longaberger basket. All proceeds will go to benefit Changing Fates Equine Rescue. Please look for us at your next 4H event!
The basket being offered is the TV Time Basket with green accents, protector, 4H tack covers and wooden 4H lid. A value of $113.00.

Redden Forest State Park Trail Ride

October 9th at 10:00 4H is sponsoring a fall trail ride at Redden Forest State Park. Registration is due by October 7th. Please contact Susan Garey truehart@udel.edu or (302) 730-4000. All riders are required to wear ASTM-SEI approved helmets and boots. Proof of negative coggins and a certificate of vaccination with in the past 180 days is required to participate. Lunch will be served to all riders that preregister.

Whimsical Equine Rescue

Karin was able to present Ms. Karen at Whimsical Equine Rescue with $75.00 that was raised by selling horse treat bags at 4H events. She also took some of the treat bags to share with the horses at the rescue.

Horsebowl

Thanks for a great showing at last nights meeting. Our next Horsebowl meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 27 @ 6:30. Any cancellations or changes will be posted, but our plans are to meet every Thursday night.

Also, I would like to remind everyone that the Maryland Horse Expo is this weekend. They have a lot of great seminars and demonstrations planned. Check out their website.
