The State 4‐H Horse Show will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 in the Quillen Arena during the Delaware State Fair. All participants must be currently enrolled 4-H members. Horses do not need to be stabled on the fairgrounds and may ship in just for the day. Horses and ponies need to have proof of a current negative Coggins test as well as proof of vaccination for Equine Influenza and Rhino (EHV) within the last 180 days. All exhibitors are required to wear an ASTM/SEI approved helmet whenever mounted or driving. A complete class list is available on the State 4-H Animal Science website. Sussex County 4-H Horse Show
Please join us on Saturday, May 25th at 8:00 am for the annual Sussex County 4-H Horse Show. The show will be held at the Wicomico Equestrian Center in Salisbury, Maryland. All horses need to have proof of a negative Coggins test as well as proof of vaccination for Equine Influenza and Rhino (EHV). If you are a 4-H member and are able to volunteer for a few hours, please arrive at the show by 7:45 am and contact Ms. Rita (302-856-2585) to let her know you plan on attending. This year will be the 60th Sussex County 4‐H Horse Show.
The Junior Council will once again sponsor the Horse Show Ad Book Cover Contest. Design a cover on standard 81/2 x11 white paper. Designs may be drawn, computerized or a combination of both.

2013 Horse Bowl
We are pleased to announce that the 2013 Horse Bowl Team Selections and 1st Practice will be held on Thursday, January 10th at 7:00p.m. at the Carvel Building.
We will be selecting teams by age brackets and selecting coaches for each team.

Breyer Horse Painting
We are excited to announce that the Breyer Horse painting event has been scheduled for
Tuesday, December 18, 2012, 6:00p.m.at the REC (old
building).
Paint a Breyer Mare and foal with a brushable mane and tail.
The cost is $10.00 per person and includes the horse painting kit and dinner.
